"3 months before my wedding and I told Anthoney that I wanted to lose 25 pounds. I had been to the gym, various YouTube videos, Google...you name it. I was not seeing results I wanted. At 35 years old, things just weren't flowing, how they did in my 20s. After talking extensively with me about my goals, current health issues and concerns, he immediately went to work and had a plan set for us. I say "us" because truly I felt like he was by my side the entire way. With Anthony you get more than a physical trainer of the body. I have an old neck injury that can at times flare up and be very painful. He provided me with not only a fitness and nutrition program that met my needs to keep me active but also with keeping me safe from injuring myself. Anthony is a great trainer. He understood how to train someone who is not 22! He was patient, friendly and encouraging. I was more comfortable working with him than being at the gym with a different trainer every day. “During the first year we worked out together, Anthoney’s expertise in biomechanics really shined. By altering traditional lifts we targeted multiple body parts, which became more efficient when you are working with time restraints. One of the most common excuses of failing to work out is, “there isn’t enough time.” Anthoney focused on how to work out to eliminate that excuse. “I have been overweight most of my life. I did lose over a hundred pounds in my early 20s but after marriage and divorce I found myself at 550lbs. I had weigh loss surgery in my late 30s and lost 300 lbs. A couple of years later I met Anthoney. I was explaining to him that I can’t lose any more weight and I was stuck at 350. Working with him I am lifting heavy weights and eating more calories which was hard for me since I battled with eating. He not only knows the information, but applies it well, always adapting it to your specific mechanics and goals. I am really particular about who I let into my health and fitness sphere (there are a LOT of sub-par trainers, physicians, etc) and Anthoney is top-notch. I always get compliments on my lifting form, and I 100% attribute this to Anthoney's instruction early in my lifting journey. He is a stickler for proper form, developing strength across the full range of motion, and cultivating the mind-body connection. "Anytime I have any nagging aches or pains, I always go to Anthoney and he immediately asses what is wrong with some testing and then gives me exercises to help with the issue! I once went to a sport’s chiropractor for a minor glute issue I was having, he just gave me some very basic things to do that I was already doing. Anthoney was able to give me some better exercises to target the area and within a few months of consistently doing the exercises my glute issue was gone!
